Frank founded Bakon BV in the Netherlands in 1986. As CEO, he built a global sales network with multiple sales offices and designed innovative spraying, cutting, and depositing machines. His passion for logistics and production was the backbone of the company's operations.
Frank's influence crossed oceans when he founded the USA division of Bakon in 1991. His move from the Netherlands underscored his commitment to understanding and serving the North American market. His innovations in the USA division included designing and making various spraying machines and a complete line of chocolate machines specifically for the US market.
Frank's dedication to innovation and understanding of the market led him to reintroduce Koma into the North American market. This venture proved successful, as Frank managed most projects for Koma, which were sold and installed in the United States and Canada during this time.
While Frank's technical knowledge is rooted in his education at HTS (Hogere Technische School), where he studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, his practical understanding has been enriched by working with diverse equipment lines, including Koma, Laser, Beldos, and many more. These collaborations have added significantly to his knowledge of refrigeration technology, bakery equipment design, installation, and repair.
Frank embarked on a new venture in 2017, founding FC Innovations LLC and serving as its CEO. In addition to developing distribution partnerships for FC Innovations, he served as the Director of Engineering and Maintenance for a large snack company with multiple plants in Seattle. He was the Director of Key Accounts at Bakon USA.
Currently, Frank leads FC Innovations as its CEO. The company offers brands like Koma Conditioning and Beldos Filling and Depositing. His legacy is one of innovation, dedication, and a deep understanding of the bakery equipment business and technology.
